CO2 Inputs
The CO₂ Inputs submenu is where you define the sources of emissions within your organization. Each CO₂ entry is linked to a tag and an emission factor.
CO₂ inputs are structured according to the different emission scopes. In Enelyzer, only Scope 1 and Scope 2 are currently available.
Scope 1 – Direct emissions
Stationary combustion
Mobile combustion
Fugitive emissions
Process emissions
Scope 2 – Indirect emissions
Electricity consumption
Steam
Each scope has its own input page.
CO2 entry
You can create a CO₂ entry within a facility and a CO₂ category.
Entering Metadata and Selecting a Tag
Enter the relevant metadata for the entry.
Select a tag to associate with the CO₂ input.
The list of available tags is filtered based on the chosen CO₂ category.
Linking an Emission Factor
After selecting a tag, choose an Emission Factors Database and link an appropriate emission factor, which will convert the consumption data into CO₂ equivalent values.
Note: If you add an entry where the unit is already kgCO₂e, no emission factor selection is required, as the value is already expressed in CO₂ equivalents.
Green/Grey Electricity
For electricity entries, you can indicate whether the electricity is green or grey.
This distinction is important for generating market-based or location-based CO₂ reports.
Assigned Percentage
Sometimes, the consumption of a single meter must be split across different activities (e.g., one gas meter used for multiple activities) or distributed over multiple buildings.
In these cases, you can assign a percentage of the consumption to each activity or building.
The platform will indicate the percentage remaining available for allocation, ensuring the total allocation does not exceed 100%.
CO2 Intensity
In addition, you can calculate CO₂ intensity by providing a denominator for each entry.
