Split Billing

Split billing module (former know as cost attribution) allows you to attribute specific (energy) consumption to individual tenants, departments or cost centers.

Split billing concept:

• Identify Consumption:

  • Pinpoint the total shared consumption that needs to be divided.

  • Link the relevant tags to all applicable building units.

• Define Allocation Rules:

  • Establish rules within Enelyzer to specify how consumption should be distributed over the different units.

  • Allocation can be based on percentages, square meters, or other relevant metrics of the units or the associated building.

• Create Billing Export:

  • The system applies the allocation rules to calculate the share of consumption for each building unit.

  • Within each building unit, consumption is further divided among the tenants, taking into account rental contracts and actual consumption during their rental period.

• Visualise in dashboards

  • Enelyzer provides detailed visibility into energy consumption patterns across the tenant base.

  • Dashboards help to identify usage trends, monitor performance and pinpoint areas for optimization.
