Custom Trees

Manage your custom tree(s) by creating folders and assigning tags to them. Custom trees can be used in the Efficiency module.

Tag Trees

Enelyzer provides two default tag tree structures:

  1. Asset-based tree – automatically generated from the asset links of tags.

  2. Activity-based tree – automatically generated from the activity links of tags.

These defaults ensure that tags are consistently grouped for navigation and tag selection.

Custom Tag Trees

To support more flexible visualizations or groupings, you can create your own custom tag trees. These allow you to organize tags beyond the default asset and activity hierarchies.

Currently, custom trees are only applied in the Efficiency module, where they serve as tag selectors.

Managing Tag Trees

Create tree

  • Click Create Tree and give it an unique name

  • Once created, you can create one or more folders.

    • Folder names do not have to be unique.

    • Folders are ordered alphabetically.

    • You can drag and drop a folder to convert it into a subfolder.

  • When selecting a folder, the default asset tree appears.

  • Expand/collapse nodes to browse tags within the tree.

  • In the asset tree, select one or more tags to link them to the selected folder.

  • On each asset level, use the icon to add all directly linked tags of that asset in one action.

Update

  • Using the pencil icon, you can rename a folder or a tree.

Delete

  • Use the trash icon to delete an entire custom tree.

  • Use the trash icon next to a folder to remove only that folder.

  • To remove tags from a tree without deleting them, simply unassign them.
