Tag Hierarchy

In the 'Tag Hierarchy' space you can manage your main meters and submeter hierarchy based on energy flows.

The information in Tag Hierarchies is primarily used in the Cost Attribution module; otherwise, it is for informational purposes only.

Tag hierarchy

• By default, the Tag Hierarchy overview displays all tags marked as main meters, organized by category and facility, each forming a separate tree.

• Tags that are not linked to a facility appear under Unassigned, where you can assign them to a facility.

• If a main meter is missing, you can use the Add Main Meter flow to select one or more tags and promote them to main meters.

Both assigning facilities and promoting main meters can also be managed directly in Tag Management.

Update Hierarchy

• To update the hierarchy, switch Enable tree edits on.

• Once enabled, you can manage and modify each hierarchy, including adding or reassigning tags.

• Press Manage tags to open the tag tree and select the tags you want to add to the hierarchy.

  • Note: Adding tags is saved automatically.

• All selected tags are added at the same level by default.

• You can drag and drop tags to reorganize them within the hierarchy.

  • These structural changes must be confirmed by clicking Persist changes.
