Import/export Assets

All assets can be created via a csv file import (template depending on asset type) and can be exported to a csv file as well.

On the top of each asset page, you'll see the 'Import' and 'Export' buttons.

Import data

It is possible to download a csv template first, by clicking on "Import Facilities", and then "Download template". A template file will be downloaded.

Make sure you follow this template in order to avoid issues while importing the data.

On a Mac, when this opens in the Numbers application, or in excel on a windows PC, make sure to save or export this file in the .csv format.`

On Mac, you will be asked if you want to include the table names. This is NOT necessary.

Export data

It's possible to export the data of a given asset by clicking on the 'Export' button on the asset overview page.

On the facilities page, there is an additional button that will create an export of all assets (from facilities till machines) in a single zip folder.
