A machine group can refer to any industrial machine. For example: an air compressor, a steam boiler, a PV installation, or a cooling installation.
We refer to it as a group because many of these machines consist of different energy-consuming components. For example, an air compressor group can also include a dryer.
Create a machine group
A facility or building may contain one or more machine groups.
To create a machine group, follow a similar approach as done for the facility.
A machine group is defined by:
Name: this is the name commonly used within the company. This is also the name that will be used everywhere in charts, tables, ... You can always change the friendly name afterwards.
Technical name: this is the unique name for the machine group. It is not changed afterwards, and is mainly used behind the scenes to establish links with other applications or software.
Type: Select your machine group.
Linked to : Select the facility or building to which this machine group is linked.
Responsible: select the person responsible. Must be an Enelyzer user.
If you are ready, click on create.
Edit a machine group
Once the machine group is created, you can set additional properties.
Choose the machine group you wish to modify from the list, and then click on the pencil under actions.
On this screen you can change the fields you made at creation such as name and type. In addition, you can also enter additional info such as manufacturer, installer,...
You can also upload maintenance documents via 'add a maintenance document'.
Using the eye button, you can view the information, but it also allows to add additional info or upload documents such as:
